Photos are taken during my reportage in February 2022 from the protest near the Russian Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal. The air in Lisbon that day was 'painted' in yellow and blue colours. It was visible everywhere you go: from flags waving in local shops and squares, to the small symbol of peace attached to a little girl's jacket who was probably struggling to understand everything happening around her.
There was also a strong feeling of unity and solidarity - Portuguese, Ukrainians, Russians, and many other nationalities came to show their support for the people, whose lives and freedoms are under a great threat, and who will remember these dreadful days for many more years.
